Two Uzbek citizens drowned in the Irkutsk region of Russia, as reported by the "TK Gorod" publication.

The incident occurred on June 29 in the Oktyabrsky village, Chunsky district. Two citizens of Uzbekistan drowned in the Chuna River. According to witnesses, a 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were bathing on the shore when one of them began to drown. The other tried to save him, resulting in both men drowning.

"The bodies of the Uzbek citizens have not been found yet. Volunteers are assisting rescuers in the search. The depth of the river at the location where the men drowned is 5.7 meters, and swimming is prohibited. A corresponding sign has been installed on the shore," the report said.

It is worth noting that the body of a 20-year-old woman who drowned in the sea due to a strong storm in Russia was found three days later.
