Russian Defense Minister arrives in Uzbekistan

On January 21, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry.
It is reported that during his visit to Tashkent, Belousov will hold talks with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General Shukhrat Kholmukhammedov, as well as with the country's military-political leadership.
"Andrei Belousov will discuss issues of ensuring security in the Central Asian region, as well as military and military-technical cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan," the report says .
Recall that in June last year, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov visited Uzbekistan. Both were received by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
