A Russian holding company plans to organize an airline company in Uzbekistan

The Russian holding company “Аэропорты Регионов” plans to establish an airline in Uzbekistan with a Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft that provides domestic flights and will be located at the Fergana airport.  Company representatives discussed this at a meeting with the governor (khokim) of the Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov.

At the meeting of the governor with the representatives of the company, the prospects for the development of Fergana airport through reconstruction and modernization and the possibilities of the participation of "Aeroporti Regionov" holding in this process were discussed.

In addition, in the future, the possibilities of turning the Fergana airport into an international transit hub between Europe and Asia and increasing the volume of cargo by building an additional cargo terminal were highly appreciated.

Views were exchanged on the placement of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 mid-range airline, which is planned to be established in Uzbekistan by the holding company " Аэропорты Регионов ", providing domestic flights at the Fergana airport.
