Her appointment to the chairmanship of the Political Council of the social-democratic party "Adolat" was officially declared today, January 20, during the XII Plenum of the Party's Political Council held in Tashkent.
Participating in the plenum were members of the Party's Political Council and Executive Committee, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, senators, local council deputies, party activists, and media representatives.
The organizational matters discussed during the event included the release of Bahrom Abduhalimov from the position of the chairman of the Political Council, as per his application, through an open vote by the Political Council members.
"Robakhon Anvarovna Mahmudova secured the position of the Political Council chair through an open vote by the members," reported the party's press service.
Additionally, changes to the composition of the Party's Political Council and Executive Committee were approved at the plenum.
It is worth noting that on January 19, during the 49th plenary session of the Senate, Robakhon Mahmudova received unanimous approval for her release from the position of the first deputy chairman of the Supreme Court.
