Ravshan Ermatov faces a deep personal loss

Sayfiddin Ermatov, the father of Ravshan Ermatov, the first vice-president of the Football Association of Uzbekistan, has passed away. The press service of the Football Association of Uzbekistan reported this news.

"On the occasion of the death of Sayfiddin Ermatov, who dedicated many years to training talented athletes and contributed to the development of Uzbek football through his refereeing and supervisory roles, we express our condolences to the relatives and family of the deceased," the source stated.

Sayfiddin Gazievich Ermatov was born on February 22, 1953, in Tashkent. He played football for many years, including stints with the teams "Pakhtakor," "Spartak," and "Avtomobilchi." Later, he taught football to young people at the "Pakhtakor" Children's and Teenagers' Sports School and the Republican Higher Sports School for Football, popularly known as "Chigatoy." He also worked as a football referee and inspector.

Sayfiddin Gazievich was the head coach of the Uzbekistan youth national team, which included talents such as Server Jeparov, Shuhrat Mirkholdirshoev, Yaroslav Krushelnisky, and Yuriy Nikitov, born in 1982.
