Changes were made in the Ministry of Digital Technologies

Following a decision by the President, several positions were appointed in the leadership of the Ministry of Digital Technologies. This was reported by an Uzbek news agency 

In particular, three deputies were appointed to the Minister of Digital Technologies.

For example, Oleg Pekos became the first deputy minister of digital technologies.

Since 2020, he has been working as the first deputy of the Minister of Information Technology and Communications Development for the digital economy and e-government issues.

Also, Jamol Maksudov, who has been working as the deputy minister of information technology and communications development for telecommunication infrastructure issues, has been appointed to the position of deputy minister of digital technologies.

In addition, Rustam Karimjonov became the deputy minister of digital technologies. Until then, Karimjonov was working in the position of Deputy Minister of Public Education

Shukhrat Kadyrov to the position of director of the Space Research and Technologies Agency under the Ministry of Digital Technologies;

Azam Abdullayev was appointed to the position of the head of the control inspection in the field of information and telecommunications under the Ministry of Digital Technologies.

Several officials of the former Ministry of Information Technology and Communications Development have resigned such as:

Daniyor Rustamov from the post of Deputy Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Development due to his transfer to another job;

Jamshid Egamberdiyev was released from the post of Deputy Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Development due to his transfer to another job.
