Prosecutor requests a 20-year prison sentence for “Bakhti Tashkentsky”

13346The prosecutor seeks to have "Bakhti Tashkentsky" sentenced to 20 years in prison for 21 crimes, according to a QALAMPIR.UZ report.
The investigation into Bakhtiyor Gudratullaev, also known as "Bakhti Tashkentsky," who was arrested in November 2023 for multiple crimes, has concluded, and the trial began on June 3. Sources from QALAMPIR.UZ confirms that the court investigation is complete.
The court has moved from investigation to negotiations. Given that the prosecutor's charges against Bakhtiyor Qudratullayev were upheld and no mitigating factors were present, he was found guilty under several articles of the Criminal Code, including Article 242 (Organizing a criminal organization), Article 165 (Extortion), Article 168 (Fraud), Article 104 (Deliberate grievous bodily harm), Article 109 (Intentional minor bodily harm), and Article 276 (Illegal drug-related activities). Based on Article 59, the prosecutor has asked for a 20-year sentence, classifying him as an extremely dangerous recidivist under Article 34, to be served in a special order colony.
Moreover, the prosecutor requested that the court impose compulsory drug treatment under Article 96 of the Criminal Code.
