5829Today, July 19, the Yunusobod District Court is announcing the verdict in the case related to "Baxti Tashkentskiy." In this case, Shuhrat Qudratullayev, the brother of Baxtiyor Qudratullayev, has been sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in prison. This was reported by a QALAMPIR.UZ correspondent from the courtroom.
According to the court's ruling, Shuhrat Qudratullayev has been classified as a dangerous recidivist and will serve his sentence in a maximum-security prison.
The state prosecutor had requested an 11-year prison sentence for Shuhrat Qudratullayev, who was charged with extortion. The prosecutor argued that the crime under Article 165 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code was substantiated. Considering that Shuhrat Qudratullayev was conditionally released in 2017 and had an outstanding sentence, the prosecutor requested that he be classified as a particularly dangerous recidivist under Article 34 of the Criminal Code and sentenced to 11 years in prison.
It should be noted that earlier, the court sentenced Baxtiyor Qudratullayev to 20 years in prison and Nargiza Jumaniyozova, the only female defendant in the case, to 4 years and 4 months of restricted freedom.
