If the air conditioner does not work on the train, the passenger will be compensated

In cases where appeals regarding the non-operation of the cooling systems in passenger train cars are confirmed, the corresponding amount of money will be returned to these passengers as compensation. This was reported by the Competition Committee.

Based on the committee's proposals, the cost of the air-conditioning system in compartment-type carriages will be deducted from the ticket price without being charged.

"Dear consumers, if you are dissatisfied with the fact that the air conditioning did not work when you traveled on passenger trains, despite having paid for the service when purchasing a ticket, you can contact the Competition Committee or 'Uztemiryolyolovchi' JSC. You may submit photos and video materials confirming that the air conditioning system was not working," the message says.

Additionally, based on the proposals of the Competition Committee, "Uzbekistan Railways" JSC announced that from July 19 of this year, the fee for the air conditioning system in coupe-type wagons will be deducted from the ticket price.

We remind you that several Uzbek artists complained about the poor conditions of the passenger train, including the non-functioning air conditioning system and sand falling from the roof, making it difficult to breathe. The Competition Committee announced that it has taken control of this situation.
