Parkent district mayor will now lead Boka district

On 25 November, Sardor Isoqulov was appointed as the mayor of Boka district in Tashkent region, the regional administration’s press service reported.

During an extraordinary session of the Boka District Council of People’s Deputies, an organizational issue was addressed. Bakhtiyor Begmatov, who previously held the position of district mayor, was relieved of his duties.

The regional governor, Zoyir Mirzaev, recommended Sardor Dadajonovich Isoqulov, who was serving as the mayor of Parkent district, for the position of Boka district mayor. The district council approved his appointment.

For reference, Sardor Isoqulov was born in 1986 in Tashkent region. He holds a higher education degree and graduated from Tashkent State Technical University in 2011. He began his career in 2006 as an electrical fitter in the Department for Calculating the Transmission of Electricity in Central Trunk Power Networks. He also held senior positions at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Prior to his appointment as Parkent district mayor in April 2024, he served as the first deputy chairman of “Thermal Power Plants” JSC, overseeing production, localization, and the expansion of cooperative relations.

It is worth noting that earlier, Jamoliddin Khojimanov was dismissed from his position as mayor of Guliston city and replaced by Farrukh Oktamjonov. Leadership also changed in G‘ijduvon district.
