Paris 2024: Muzaffarbek Toraboyev will compete for bronze medal

In the judo competition of the 2024 Summer Olympics held in France, Muzaffarbek Toraboyev, competing in the -100 kg weight category, faced Zelim Kotsoyev from Azerbaijan.

The Uzbekistani representative was defeated and will now compete for the bronze medal. In his last match against the current world champion Zelim Kotsoyev, he lost with a low score. Toraboyev had previously defeated Mikhail Correl from the Netherlands in the quarterfinals.

Muzaffarbek Toraboyev is set to compete against Spain's Nikoloz Sherazadishvili for the bronze medal. The match is expected to begin after 20:15 Tashkent time.

It is noteworthy that the champion of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, judoka Diyora Keldiyorova, has donated her kimono, which she used in the competition, to the museum of the International Olympic Committee.
