The finals of the women's para athletics F54 javelin event, held in Paris, have concluded.
Nurkhan Kurbanova, representing Uzbekistan, set a new world record with a throw of 21.12 meters, securing the 10th gold medal for our delegation.
Notably, the previous world record in the F54 javelin class also belonged to Nurkhan Kurbanova. She set the former record with a throw of 20.73 meters at the World Championships held in Japan earlier this year.
Nurkhan Kurbanova had previously won silver and bronze medals at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games.
