Pakhtakor to battle Saudi giants Al-Hilal in knockout stage

Tashkent’s Pakhtakor is set to face Al-Hilal in the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Elite Tournament.
On February 18, the final round of the group stage matches concluded. Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal secured a 2-0 away victory against UAE’s Al-Wasl, finishing at the top of the group standings.
As a result, 1st-seeded Al-Hilal will take on 8th-seeded Pakhtakor in the knockout stage. Other round of 16 matchups include:
- Al-Rayyan vs. Al-Ahli
- Istiqlol vs. Al-Nassr
- Al-Wasl vs. TBD
The first leg of the Pakhtakor vs. Al-Hilal clash will take place in Tashkent on March 3-4, with the return leg scheduled for March 10-11.
