As we reported earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev fired Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev at the meeting on the supply of energy resources held in the presence of the President on 16 January.

On 5 January, Jahangir Ortiqkhojayev and Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov visited the “Pakhtakor” academy during their visit to Chilonzor district. During the visit, Ortiqkhojayev instructed the officials to prepare a project for the reconstruction of a new dormitory for 100 people, 5 new fields and an abandoned arena at the sports base in Qibray district.

After Artikkhodzhayev leaves his post, the fate of the academy remains unknown. Many fans of “Pakhtakor” club want Artikhojayev not to leave the club’s patronage.
