Today, April 5, Uzbek professional boxer Otabek Kholmatov faced Filipino fighter Jeyson Manigos in a boxing night held in Kazakhstan. Kholmatov secured victory through a technical knockout with just one minute remaining in the bout.
The fight, scheduled for eight rounds, lasted almost the full distance. In the final minute, Kholmatov overwhelmed his opponent with a flurry of punches, prompting the referee to declare a technical knockout. Notably, Kholmatov knocked Manigos down in both the second and fourth rounds, solidifying his dominance and ensuring victory.
This win marks the 29-year-old Xolmatov’s 13th professional victory. He has only suffered one defeat in his career, which occurred during a bout against Raymond Ford.
