2008Three children who were left without parental care have been safely repatriated to Uzbekistan from abroad, as reported by the Social Protection Agency.
The operation was facilitated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, bringing one child from the Russian Federation and two from the People's Republic of China back to Uzbekistan.
Prior to their return, the National Agency of Social Protection conducted a thorough assessment of the families and close relatives of the minors in Uzbekistan, revealing that the children were living in challenging conditions.
Upon their return, the children were provided with comprehensive social services tailored to their needs. This support includes psychological care, legal assistance, educational placement, and other essential services to ensure their well-being.
"For context, 11 children who were without parental care abroad have been returned to Uzbekistan since the beginning of October. Another group of children from the Russian Federation is expected to be brought back in the coming days," the agency's statement read.
Previously, an Uzbek citizen who sustained serious injuries in a car accident in Russia was also repatriated to receive further care.
