Almalyk mayor appointed mayor of Nurafshon

Qobil Murodqulovich Hamdamov was appointed mayor of Nurafshon in Tashkent region on June 8, the regional administration’s press service reported.
According to the report, an extraordinary session of the Nurafshon city Council of People’s Deputies was held in the city.
During the session, Tashkent regional governor Zoyir Mirzayev delivered a speech on key future tasks related to the socio-economic development of the city.
An organizational issue was also considered at the session.
Mirzayev recommended Qobil Murodqulovich Hamdamov, who had been serving as mayor of Almalyk, for the post of Nurafshon mayor.
At the session, the Nurafshon city Council of People’s Deputies approved Hamdamov as mayor of the city.
Earlier, Ilhom Qilichxonov was relieved of his post as mayor of Nurafshon, Tashkent region, as he is set to continue his career in a new position.
