More than 114,000 drivers in Uzbekistan have received penalty points over the past five months, according to Zoir Yuldoshev, spokesperson for the Traffic Safety Service.
From June 1 to October 30, 2025, a total of 114,374 drivers were given penalty points ranging from one to five. In addition, six drivers received between five and six points, while two drivers accumulated between seven and eight points.
It was noted that since the introduction of the penalty point system for traffic violations, the total number of road accidents has decreased by 6.3 percent, and accidents caused by driver error have dropped by 31.2 percent.
Earlier, it was reported that between June and August 2025, 63,974 drivers in Uzbekistan had received up to one penalty point.
