Nurkhan Gurbanova wins bronze medal at Paralympics

The success of Uzbek athletes at the 2024 Paris Summer Paralympics in France continues to grow.
Nurkhan Gurbanova won a bronze medal in the women’s shot put competition, F54 class, with a result of 7.75 meters.
For reference, Nurkhan Gurbanova previously earned silver and bronze medals at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games.
Uzbekistan's total medal count now stands at 14: 6 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze.
Additionally, Bobur Omonov from Uzbekistan set a Paralympic record and won the championship in the track and field competition.
