Today, August 30, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. This is reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

The Head of the Government of Armenia sincerely congratulated the head of Uzbekistan on the upcoming national holiday - Independence Day and wished the people of Uzbekistan peace, stability, and prosperity.

Topical issues of the development of bilateral relations and cooperation within the framework of international organizations were considered.

Special attention was paid to the important aspects of the development of practical cooperation.

The existing opportunities for increasing the volume of mutual trade, the implementation of cooperation projects with the active involvement of business entities and leading enterprises, and the formation of effective mechanisms for expanding trade and economic cooperation were noted.

There was also an exchange of views on the regional agenda and on enhancing dialogue within multilateral frameworks.
