Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates Pashinyan on election victory

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent congratulations to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of the Civil Contract party in Armenia’s parliamentary elections. The press service of the Armenian Prime Minister reported this.

“Dear Nikol Vovayevich, I sincerely congratulate you on the victory of the Civil Contract party, which you lead, in the regular parliamentary elections held in the Republic of Armenia,” the congratulatory letter said.

The President of Uzbekistan also noted that the election results are practical confirmation of the Armenian people’s strong confidence in the domestic and foreign policy pursued by Pashinyan, including his efforts to ensure peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus.

“I am confident that, as a result of our joint efforts, we will succeed in further expanding our mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.

Taking this opportunity, I wish you strong health, happiness and great success in your responsible state activities, and peace and tranquility to the friendly people of Armenia,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

Earlier, it was reported that Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party had won the parliamentary elections with 50.07% of the vote.
