An earthquake occurred today, November 15, in the Navoi region, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The earthquake struck at 11:59 AM local time, with coordinates at 41.42°N latitude and 64.1°E longitude. It had a magnitude of 3.9 and occurred at a depth of 15 kilometers. The epicenter was located 427 kilometers northwest of Tashkent, in the Tomdi district of the Navoi region.
Earlier, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan was also felt in Surkhandarya.
