Earthquake strikes Namangan

On November 11, at 22:32 Tashkent time, a 3.9-magnitude earthquake occurred in Namangan region, the Republic Seismological Forecast Center reported.

The earthquake’s epicenter was located 193 km southeast of Tashkent, with a perceived intensity of 4 points at the epicenter. The earthquake registered a magnitude of 3.9 at a depth of 16 km. The epicenter was in Kosonsoy district, Namangan region, at coordinates 41.21°N latitude and 71.52°E longitude.

Across Uzbekistan, the earthquake was felt with the following intensities:

  •  Namangan region: 2–3 points, within a 26 km radius.

Earlier, a 3.2-magnitude earthquake was reported in Gazli, Bukhara region.
