In Namangan, a tax inspector is caught with a bribe

The deputy head of the Namangan city tax inspection was caught with a $2,000 bribe.  This was reported by the information service of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor’s Office.

It was reported that the department under the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Namangan region administrations of the State Security Service conducted a quick event to protect the rights of business entities.

During the event, Deputy Head of Namangan City Tax Inspection J.M.  In exchange for revealing the closed account number of “O.F.” LLC, the lawyer of “S” LLC demanded a bribe of 2 thousand dollars from M.A. through Yu.O.  captured.

In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated against J.M. under Article 210 of the Criminal Code (bribery) and against Yu.O. under Article 28, 210, and investigations are underway.
