61 cases of illegal use of energy resources were uncovered in the Namangan region. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.

It was determined that the damage in these cases amounted to 5 billion 70 million soums.

In particular, at Ch.M.V. located in the Chortoq district, 1 billion 683 million soums worth of electricity was stolen as a result of external interference with the electric meter at LLC "S.S.M." Additionally, LLC "S.S.M." arbitrarily and illegally connected to the electricity network, causing 319.9 million soums in damage to the state's interests.

"Appropriate documents were prepared and submitted to law enforcement agencies to take action against the violating consumers in accordance with the law," the report stated.
