German coach Julian Nagelsmann became the youngest manager to lead a team at the European Championship, as reported by "Opta."

Nagelsmann made his debut in the opening match of Euro 2024 at the age of 36 years and 327 days, breaking the record previously held by Slovenian coach Srechko Katanec, who currently manages the Uzbekistan national team.

Srechko Katanec led Slovenia at Euro 2000 when he was 36 years and 333 days old, setting the record for the youngest coach at a major international tournament at that time.

Nagelsmann took over as head coach of the German national team last year. Throughout his career, he has managed prominent clubs including Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim, and several other German teams.
