Colonel Bahrom Bahodirovich Ormonov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan for Digitalization, Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. A relevant resolution of the President of Uzbekistan has been adopted.
For reference, before this appointment, Bahrom Ormonov served as head of the Main Department for Communications, Information Technologies and Information Protection of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
In addition, in accordance with a relevant order of the President of Uzbekistan, Colonel Mirsaid Tagirovich Shukurov was appointed head of the Southern Operational Command of the Southwestern Special Military District.
Earlier, Ayubxon Orifxon ogli Sultonov was appointed First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies.
