President Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies, highlighting the escalating international tensions stemming from unresolved conflicts in the Middle East and incidents like the recent terrorist attack in Moscow.

During his address, Mirziyoyev emphasized the need to mitigate economic challenges and maintain people's income amidst the complexities of the current global landscape. He stressed the importance of fully leveraging available opportunities to bolster the economic infrastructure and enhance livelihoods.

The president outlined several untapped opportunities in the capital, including the potential for new projects through land auctions and the conversion of agricultural land for industrial and residential purposes. He also highlighted the abundance of job vacancies in enterprises and organizations within the capital, as well as the potential for job creation in the newly established "Yangi Avlod" special industrial zone.
