Uzbek citizen was suspected of attempted rape and assault in Moscow

6615The Tagansky District Court in Moscow has detained M.Kh., a citizen of Uzbekistan, on charges related to attempted rape and assault. This information was reported by Lenta.ru.
The court ruled that M.Kh. will remain in pre-trial detention for two months, until December 26, pending further investigation. Charges against him include multiple offenses under the Russian Criminal Code: Article 30, Part 3; Article 131, Part 1 (Attempted rape); Article 132, Part 1 (Sexual violence); and Article 161, Part 2, Clause "g" (use of non-life-threatening violence or robbery with threats of violence).
According to Moscow’s Investigative Committee, on the evening of October 25, M.Kh. allegedly assaulted a young woman in a Moscow park, taking her phone and then committing acts of sexual violence, including an attempt to rape her. Police detained him at the scene.
Earlier, another criminal case was filed in St. Petersburg against an Uzbek driver who allegedly committed an act of sexual violence, involving a six-year-old girl.
