The start date of trading in Uzbek soms on the Moscow Stock Exchange is announced

On 27 June, the Moscow Stock Exchange will start trading in Uzbek som, Armenian dram, and South African rand.  This was reported by “Interfax”, citing the press service of the stock exchange.

It is noted that the new currencies will expand the trading opportunities of professional market participants, and their customers - natural and legal entities, including foreign economic entities.

Traders and their clients can use spot and exchange tools for the following currency pairs:

• South African rand - Russian ruble (ZAR / RUB);

• US dollar - South African rand (USD / ZAR);

• Armenian dram - Russian ruble (AMD / RUB);

• US dollar - Armenian dram (USD / AMD);

• Uzbek som - Russian ruble (UZS / RUB).

The Stock Exchange also plans to start trading in UAE dirham - Russian ruble (AED / RUB) and US dollar - UAE dirham (USD / AED).  The start date of those pair's trading has not yet been announced.
