Mirziyoyev concludes his visit to Tajikistan

The official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Tajikistan has concluded, the presidential press service reported.

During the visit, the head of state held talks with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.

President Mirziyoyev also attended the second ’’Central Asia–Russia’’ summit and the regular meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) held in Dushanbe.

The Uzbek leader put forward a number of initiatives aimed at expanding practical cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian spheres and enhancing the effectiveness of multilateral partnerships.

After the completion of the visit’s program, the high-ranking guest was seen off at Dushanbe International Airport by Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda and other officials. The head of state then departed for Tashkent.
