Mirziyoyev awarded the “Golden Kiran” order

3859As part of his state visit to Kazakhstan, a ceremony was held in Astana to award President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan the Order of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Golden Kiran" ("Golden Eagle"). This was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
Kazakhstan's highest state honor was solemnly presented to President Mirziyoyev by President Kassym-Jomart Tokaev.
In his acceptance speech, Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of Uzbekistan, stating that this prestigious award is a recognition of the joint efforts of the two nations to strengthen their centuries-old friendship and good neighborly relations. He also noted that it symbolizes the shared aspirations to elevate the relationship between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to a new historical stage—one of strategic partnership and alliance.
For context, the "Golden Kiran" is the highest order awarded to statesmen for their significant contributions to strengthening friendly relations with Kazakhstan.
It is worth noting that earlier, at the Akorda residence, Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kassym-Jomart Tokaev held a meeting, followed by the first session of the Supreme Interstate Council.
