Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the grand ceremony dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II, held in Moscow, Russia. This announcement was made by the President’s press secretary, Sherzod Asadov.
“President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the jubilee events marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II on May 9 in Moscow,” Asadov stated during the Inter-Parliamentary Union assembly in Tashkent.
Asadov also revealed that this matter was discussed during Mirziyoyev’s meeting with Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia.
