President Mirziyoyev engages with students at school in the Navoi visit

2461On October 31, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the 22nd General Education School in the Farovon district of the Navoi region, according to the President's press service.
This recently constructed school, home to nearly 1,800 students, was inaugurated last year and offers modern amenities across its classrooms, laboratories, language and computer rooms, sports hall, football field, and kitchen. The library, equipped with over 3,000 books, is connected to the Alisher Navoi National Library system.
"The institution focuses on a well-rounded education, encouraging students to learn at least two foreign languages and master a modern trade. Students can explore fields such as applied arts, hospitality, painting, photography, IT, and robotics, with over 100 extracurricular clubs available," the report states.
The "Support of the Motherland" military-patriotic group, developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, hosts discussions on the valor of historic generals like Amir Temur and Jalaluddin Manguberdi, alongside patriotic events and sports competitions.
"It is good to be educated and to acquire a profession. If you have strong patriotism in your heart, your enthusiasm will be even higher," President Mirziyoyev remarked to the students.
Additionally, the school’s "Iqtidor" club engages creative students in music, theater, and art activities, further broadening their educational experience.
"My biggest concern and goal is the education of young people. We need an educated generation to achieve the goals we envision. You should learn the value of time, seize every opportunity, and study. The knowledge and skills you acquire now will shape your future," the President advised.
The school also emphasizes safety and sustainability, employing a "safe school" system with "Face ID" for secure entry and exit, and utilizing solar energy through installed 5.5 kW solar panels.
Earlier in his visit to Navoi, President Mirziyoyev reviewed progress at the construction site of "New Navoi" and engaged with local intellectuals.
