Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, began a short-term work vacation on January 6, 2025. This was confirmed by the Presidential Press Secretary, Sherzod Asadov.
Mirziyoyev's work vacations have become a regular occurrence. His first work vacation took place on August 5, 2019. In 2021, the President took a seven-day break, from January 4 to January 10. In 2022, his short-term work vacation lasted from January 5 to January 7. In 2023, Mirziyoyev’s vacation began on December 4. Notably, in 2024, he took work vacations from April 22-29 and from July 26 to August 5.
