Mirziyoyev returns from work vacation

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has returned from a short-term work vacation. This was announced by the President's press secretary, Sherzod Asadov.

"This week, meetings with the head of our state on important socio-economic issues are planned," said Asadov.

Additionally, it is scheduled that during the week, the President will undertake a state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, participate in the upcoming consultative meeting of Central Asian leaders, and attend the "Central Asia + Japan" summit in Astana. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is expected to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at the end of the week.

For reference, Mirziyoyev took his first vacation on August 5, 2019. In 2021, the President's vacation lasted seven days, from January 4 to January 10. In 2022, Mirziyoyev's short-term vacation was from January 5 to January 7. The President took a short vacation from December 4 last year.

It should be noted that Shavkat Mirziyoyev went on a short-term work leave starting on July 26, 2024.
