A dignified ceremony commemorating the official reception of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on his state visit to Tajikistan, took place at the "Qasri Millat" residence in Dushanbe, as per the President's press service.
An honor guard was assembled to honor the esteemed guest, accompanied by the playing of both countries' anthems.
Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon proceeded past the honor guard and introduced the members of their respective official delegations.
A photograph was taken to mark the occasion.
Currently, the heads of state are engaged in bilateral discussions.
It's worth noting that President Tajikistan greeted Mirziyoyev at Dushanbe airport earlier.
