Mirziyoyev and Japarov initiate major cooperation projects

6247The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadir Japarov, participated in the launch ceremony of significant cooperation projects following bilateral negotiations. This information was provided by the President's press service.
It was reported that the construction of two solar power stations, totaling 400 megawatts in capacity, has commenced in the Fergana and Namangan regions. These stations are expected to supply electricity to Kyrgyzstan.
"A factory for the production of modern passenger cars and commercial equipment has been inaugurated in the Chui region. The assembly line includes passenger cars and trucks of the Cobalt, Onyx, and Tracker models," the report states.
Additionally, production facilities for sewing, knitting products, and fabric have been launched in Kara-Balta city. The installation of modern technological equipment at the enterprise was also completed. The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan expressed confidence that these projects will enhance mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
