Mirziyoyev to visit Moscow tomorrow

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a working visit to Moscow on May 8–9 at the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The information was confirmed by the press service of the President.
According to the official program, President Mirziyoyev will participate in ceremonial events marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II and will hold a series of bilateral meetings.
It is worth noting that Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov previously announced that more than 20 heads of state and government are expected to attend the ceremony in Moscow on May 9. Among the confirmed attendees are Chinese President Xi Jinping, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, representing a European Union member state.
