Mirziyoyev is Expected to Visit Iran 

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan is scheduled to visit Iran on 18th of June this year. This announcement was made by Rahmatulla Khormali, the Director General of the Central Asia, Russia, and Caucasus Department of Iran's Trade Development Organization, during a meeting with businessmen in Tashkent.

As part of the preparations for the visit, a business forum will be held in Tehran, bringing together business communities from both countries. It is worth noting that on the 14th of September 2022, Iran's President, Ibrahim Raisi, visited Uzbekistan on an official visit.  During that visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ibrahim Raisi met at the Congress Center in Samarkand, where they signed 18 bilateral agreements covering various areas of cooperation.

Following the successful discussions, President Ibrahim Raisi extended an invitation to President Mirziyoyev to visit Iran at a time that is convenient for him. Now, with President Mirziyoyev's upcoming visit, both countries have an opportunity to strengthen their ties and explore further avenues of collaboration.
