Uzbek leader extends birthday wishes to Turkish President Erdogan

On February 26, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a phone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to extend his heartfelt birthday congratulations. The press service of the Uzbek president reported this.

During the call, Mirziyoyev wished Erdogan good health, well-being, and continued success in his leadership for Turkey’s sustainable development. He also emphasized Erdogan’s significant role in modernizing Turkey, enhancing its global influence, and strengthening Uzbek-Turkish strategic relations.

The leaders noted the ongoing productive dialogue between the two nations, highlighting the growing cooperation in trade, economy, culture, and humanitarian efforts. They also discussed joint investment projects in key sectors such as energy, healthcare, infrastructure, and education.

A key topic of discussion was the preparation for the next High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council meeting and upcoming summits of the Organization of Turkic States.

At the end of the conversation, Mirziyoyev and Erdogan exchanged greetings on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing peace and prosperity to the people of both nations.
