Mirziyoyev and Radev plant a tree to symbolize Uzbek-Bulgarian friendship

On June 10, a symbolic tree planting ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy residence in Tashkent, following high-level talks between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria. The event was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Rumen Radev of Bulgaria planted a tree on the Alley of Honored Guests as a sign of enduring friendship, mutual respect, and the shared ambition to open a new chapter in bilateral relations between the two nations.


Earlier that day, an official welcoming ceremony for President Rumen Radev was held at Kuksaroy. He arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit. Following the ceremony, the two leaders held talks with the participation of their respective official delegations.
During the meeting, President Rumen Radev extended an invitation to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to make a return visit to Bulgaria at a mutually convenient time.
President Radev is also scheduled to attend the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum during his visit.
