On June 6, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan was officially welcomed at the Presidential Palace in Ankara, according to the press service of the Uzbek head of state.
An honor guard was arranged in honor of the visiting dignitary. Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ascended the podium, and the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Turkey were played. The two leaders then inspected the honor guard.
Currently, a closed-door meeting is taking place between the two heads of state. They are discussing issues related to the further development and strengthening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
