Mirziyoyev called on the leaders of 6 countries to unite against geopolitical conflicts

Today, the Turkish states are experiencing complex tests related to the severe geopolitical conflicts, the global economic crisis, and the negative consequences of climate change.  President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke about this in his speech at the summit of the heads of state of the Organization of Turkic States, which is being held in Samarkand today, November 11.

"That is why our countries need to define common approaches and coordinate efforts to solve the most urgent problems in the current dangerous situation.

We can overcome any difficulties through friendship, cooperation, and mutual support," says Mirziyoyev.

The head of state specially acknowledged that a lot of work has been done in various directions during the last year under the chairmanship of Turkey in the Organization, and cooperation has become more active.

"Uzbekistan, during its presidency, will effectively implement the concept of "Turkish World Vision - 2040" and the "Five-Year Strategy of the Organization of Turkic States", adopted today, and increase the prestige of our organization, which includes a huge region with more than 170 million inhabitants.  We intend to strengthen and, most importantly, bring cooperation between our brotherly peoples and countries with a common history, language and culture to a higher level", the head of Uzbekistan.

At the meeting chaired by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov, the President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, the President of Turkey Rajab Tayyip Erdogan, the Prime Minister of the observer country Hungary Viktor The guest of honor of the Orban summit is the Chairman of the People's Consultation of the National Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as well as the general secretary of the organization, Baghdad Amreyev.
