Minnikhanov visits Uzbekistan

Rustam Minnikhanov, the Chairman of Tatarstan, made a business visit to Navoi, Uzbekistan, as reported by his press service.

Upon arrival at the international airport, Minnikhanov was received by Normat Tursunov, Governor of Navoi Region, Jorabek Mirzamakhmudov, Uzbekistan's Minister of Energy, and the Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade.

The visit's agenda included not only tours of various enterprises but also meetings with regional leaders to discuss the implementation of joint projects.

Additionally, on June 14, Minnikhanov met with Erkin Hamrayev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, to discuss strengthening cooperation between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan within the framework of Russia-Uzbekistan relations.

Earlier, on June 6, Minnikhanov had a meeting with Uzbekistan's Deputy Prime Minister, Jamshid Khojayev, during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. They discussed ongoing projects in Uzbekistan, particularly in the Bukhara and Navoi regions.
