The Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan will hold a crucial meeting on border issues tomorrow, January 8, at the intersection of the three countries' borders. This was announced by the press service of the Kyrgyzstan Cabinet of Ministers.

The meeting will be attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Head of the Presidential Administration, Odilbek Kasimaliyev, alongside Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov of Uzbekistan and Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda of Tajikistan. The trilateral talks will take place at the border junction of the three countries.

According to the report, the focus of the meeting will be on discussions regarding the agreements previously reached by the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan concerning state border issues.

It is also noted that in December 2024, delegations from Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan successfully completed the demarcation of the remaining sections of the Tajik-Kyrgyz border. Kyrgyz President Sadir Japarov later confirmed that border issues between the two nations had been resolved with consideration for the mutual interests of both sides, as he stated in an interview with the Kabar agency.
