Navoi experiences a 3.6 magnitude earthquake

A 3.6-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Tomdi district of the Navoi region, according to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The earthquake struck on January 6 at 20:25 local time. Its epicenter was located in the Tomdi district of Navoi region, with the following coordinates: 41.92 degrees north latitude and 65.08 degrees east longitude. The earthquake had a magnitude of 3.6 and occurred at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter was situated 352 km northwest of Tashkent.

Earlier, a 3.6-magnitude earthquake was also reported in the Jondor district of the Bukhara region.
