Malaysian ambassador to Uzbekistan ends diplomatic mission

Malaysia’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Ilham Tuah bin Illias, has completed his diplomatic mission. Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov announced this.
According to the ministry, during the farewell meeting, the sides noted with satisfaction the rapid development of political dialogue, trade and economic ties, investment, education, tourism, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries in recent years.
The ambassador’s contribution to strengthening relations between the two countries was also highly appreciated.
At the end of the meeting, Ilham Tuah bin Illias was wished great success in his future activities.
Earlier, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of credentials from Kuwait’s newly appointed ambassador to the country, Turki Khaled Hamad Al-Mikrad.
