In Uzbekistan, 5,300 citizens who missed the chance to complete their general secondary education on time were given the opportunity to do so. This information was reported by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
A system of final state certifications has been established for those who did not complete their education through traditional means.
In 2024, 8,038 citizens applied to take their final state certifications through this external process.
Of those who applied, 611 citizens successfully passed and received a certificate of 9-year basic secondary education, while 4,689 citizens received a certificate of general secondary education equivalent to completing the 11th grade.
It should be noted that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev previously announced plans to increase teachers' salaries.
