Chinese will be taught in universities, technical schools, and general education schools in Uzbekistan. For this purpose, more than 100 native speakers and volunteers will be invited. This was announced today, September 9, at a videoconference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the implementation of reforms and future priorities in preschool and school education.
’’What concerns me is creating opportunities for our youth to acquire professions and secure stable incomes. If we put this system in place properly, there will be no poverty or unemployment in the neighborhoods’’, the President said.
It was noted that during the President’s visit to China, a package of prospective projects worth $35 billion was formed with the heads of major companies in the fields of energy, geology, chemistry, transport, agriculture, and water management. It was emphasized that such projects will require thousands of specialists with strong knowledge of technology and the Chinese language. To implement the Chinese experience in vocational training, the establishment of two ’’Uzbekistan–China workshops’’ in each region was instructed.
In addition, more than 100 native speakers and volunteers will be invited to teach Chinese in universities, technical schools, and general education schools.
